Winzerhausen — District with Winegrowing Tradition

Winzerhausen is a district of Großbottwar in the Ludwigsburg district (AGS 08118), located in the Bottwartal — one of Württemberg's warmest winegrowing regions. The name reveals its history: wine has been cultivated here for centuries. The Bottwartal Lemberger and Trollinger are highly valued throughout Württemberg. The annual Straßenfest Winzerhausen is a village festival in the classic Swabian sense — organized by the club for the residents, with live music, good food, and communal togetherness.

Organizers: Liederkranz and LandFrauen

The festival is organized by the TGV Turn- und Gesangverein „Liederkranz" Winzerhausen in cooperation with the LandFrauen Winzerhausen. The TGV, with its gymnastics and singing departments, is a classic Swabian village club, and the LandFrauen are a nationwide active network of rural women who play a central role in Winzerhausen with catering and their own culinary products.

The festival finances the club work of both host clubs for the entire year.
