The Park der Gärten in Bad Zwischenahn, on the shores of Lake Zwischenahn, is one of Northern Germany's most renowned garden landscapes. Over 50 themed and show gardens, sculpture trails, and water features form the backdrop for the “Zu Gast im Park” concert series. From May to September, the park transforms on select evenings into an open-air stage with seating for several thousand spectators.

The series is consistently multidisciplinary: comedy and cabaret (Atze Schröder, Jürgen von der Lippe, Christian Ehring), singer/songwriters (Anna Depenbusch, Philipp Poisel), guitar virtuosos (Tommy Emmanuel), vocal ensembles (The Ten Tenors, Damenlikörchor), and world music (QUADRO NUEVO) come together.
