On Sunday, October 4, 2026, the Hanseatic city of Stralsund will celebrate its Thanksgiving Festival. The day starts with a Thanksgiving service in St. Nikolai Church at 10:00 AM. Afterwards, a market festival will be open on the Alter Markt from 11:30 AM to 5:00 PM, where regional producers will present their products. The festival is organised in cooperation with the North Vorpommern Farmers' Association and regional producers, celebrating the connection between city and countryside.
