Cycling for Climate Protection
Stadtradeln is an international campaign that aims to cover as many everyday journeys as possible by bicycle for three weeks. The Hof district has been participating for several years — the district's climate protection management organizes the regional campaign.
Anyone Can Participate
Anyone who lives, works, belongs to a club, or attends a school in the Hof district can participate. The kilometers cycled are recorded via the Stadtradeln app or the online cycling log — individually or as a team for a company, club, school, or circle of friends.
Guided Bike Tours
The program includes guided bike tours that invite participants on joint rides at the start and during the campaign — from the opening tour to thematic routes through the Hofer Land.
Competition and Prizes
At the end, prizes are awarded in several categories: for the team with the most kilometers, the most active company, club, and school team, as well as the most active school class. Thus, Stadtradeln combines climate protection, exercise, and community.
Stadtradeln Hof — edition 2026
Stadtradeln Hof 2026 takes place from June 14 to July 4 — it is the seventh year that the Hof district is participating in the international climate protection cycling campaign. Starting June 14, participants will record their kilometers via the Stadtradeln app or the online cycling log.
Two guided bike tours complement the program: the opening tour on June 14 from Hof to Saxony with stops in Heinersgrün and Ruderitz, and on June 28, a 40-kilometer garden route with stops in Hallerstein and Förbau. Prizes will be awarded for the team with the most kilometers, the most active company, club, and school team, as well as the most active school class.
