Town Festival in the Heart of the Ore Mountains

The small Ore Mountains town of Oederan in the Mittelsachsen district cultivates a vibrant event year, in which the Stadtfest holds a firm place. Oederan is one of the traditional communities in the Ore Mountains and knows how to create occasions for celebration throughout the year: the multi-week AlleWeltZelt on the market square in June, the Glitzernacht, the Oederaner Familientag, and not least the cozy Weihnachtsmarkt (Christmas market) in December. The Stadtfest fits seamlessly into this series – as a summer community festival that brings together locals and guests from the entire Mittelsachsen district and beyond.

Oederan is known beyond the region for the historic cloth-making mill Die Weberei as well as for the unique open-air museum Klein-Erzgebirge, which showcases the charm of the region in miniature.
