Club Festival in ARBERLAND Tradition

The sports club Prackenbach e.V. organizes the Sport and Summer Festival every summer on the club's own sports field. It is one of the highlights of the club year — more than just a tournament, rather a three-day village festival with a sporting core. Chairman Frank Saller and the team of helpers from the SV have been organizing the festival with great dedication for years.

What awaits you

Three days of festivities from Friday evening to Sunday evening, each in the festival tent at the sports field:

• Friday — Festival opening and evening of entertainment in the festival tent
• Saturday afternoon from 1:00 PM — Fun tournament with typically 13 teams, parallel F-youth tournament with six teams from the region
• Saturday evening — Dance band in the festival tent, the famous "Luft-Goas" (inflatable goat) as a landmark visible from afar above the bar
• Sunday — Morning pint, G-youth demonstration in the afternoon, family program with bouncy castle, face painting, tattoos, drawing table and goal wall shooting

Lower Bavarian conviviality

The festival has the unmistakable character of a classic Lower Bavarian club festival: no glitz, no mass event — but sports field sociability with bratwurst, beer, ice cream, and coffee, many families, regular guests from the sports club, and helpers who have known each other for years.

Around it: Prackenbach

Prackenbach (approx. 2,000 inhabitants) is located in the Regen district on the western edge of the Bavarian Forest. The market town is part of the ARBERLAND tourism region and a classic destination during the summer festival season: the Sport and Summer Festival of the SV fits seamlessly into the ARBERLAND festival circuit with Bodenmais, Viechtach, Ruhmannsfelden, and others.
