Music Night as Festival Opening
Sound in Eichenau is the annual music night organised by the trade association „Wir in Eichenau“. Since 2019, it has opened the Eichenau community festival on Friday evenings. The first event took place in 2017 and was an immediate success — since then, the music night has been an integral part of Eichenau's event summer in the district of Fürstenfeldbruck.
Stage Mile Along the Main Street
The venue is Hauptstraße and Bahnhofstraße, which become an open live music mile for the evening. Bands and musicians of various styles — from rock and pop to acoustic sets — play in front of and inside the shops, in squares, and at stands. The motto says it all: "It's good to live in Eichenau, dine wonderfully, and celebrate with passion."
Culinary Delights from Local Businesses
Local restaurateurs, clubs, and businesses operate culinary stands along the festival mile. Thus, the music night also becomes a showcase of local trade and crafts — economic promotion and community festival in one.

The 2026 edition — the 8th music night "Sound in Eichenau" — runs on Friday, June 26, from 5 PM to 11 PM along Hauptstraße and Bahnhofstraße (up to house number 77).
The trade association "Wir in Eichenau" transforms the streets into an open stage mile with live music. Local restaurateurs and businesses operate culinary stands. The music night traditionally opens the Eichenau community festival. Admission is free; the contact person for inquiries is Tobias Spann.
