For the 20th time, the Fürth Stadtpark will transform into a magical open-air ballroom on July 18, 2026. Across multiple dance floors and themed areas, the program ranges from classical waltzes and swing to modern house beats, complemented by spectacular show acts, dance classes, and a colorful fireworks display.

20th Anniversary Edition

The Sommernachtsball 2026 celebrates its 20th anniversary. Starting at 5 PM, the program unfolds across several dance floors and themed areas in the Stadtpark, each with its own musical character – from big band to party band to electronic disco. The multi-talented Volker Heißmann performs live, with culinary accompaniment by top chef Alexander Herrmann. The highlight is a grand fireworks display.

Getting There

The Fürth Stadtpark is centrally located and within walking distance of Fürth main station and the subway. Travel by subway from Nuremberg is recommended.

From Waltz to House

The concept thrives on its diversity: classic big band sounds from the Thilo Wolf Big Band, party band sounds, swing in the rose garden, classical music in the church, and electronic beats in the ballroom house area. In between, there are show acts, dance classes to join, casino flair, and burlesque. A separate dance floor is reserved for every taste.

Heißmann, Big Band, and Gourmet Cuisine

A defining figure of the ball is the multi-talented Volker Heißmann from Comödie Fürth. The evening is accompanied gastronomically by top chef Alexander Herrmann. The grand finale is a spectacular fireworks display over the Stadtpark.
