Since 1952, Consumenta in Nuremberg has been one of the largest and most successful consumer fairs in Germany. For nine days, the Nuremberg Exhibition Centre transforms into a huge world of experience for living, building, household, hobbies, health, and enjoyment. Over 1,000 exhibitors from trade, crafts, industry, and gastronomy present products and trends across approximately 80,000 square meters in nine halls. Around 123,000 visitors attend annually.

Consumenta 2026 will take place from October 31 to November 8 at the Nuremberg Exhibition Centre. Over nine days, more than 1,000 exhibitors will present products and trends related to building, living, household, hobbies, health, and enjoyment. One ticket is valid for the parallel fairs.

From October 31 to November 8, 2026, Consumenta will once again open its doors at the Nuremberg Exhibition Centre. Across approximately 80,000 square meters in nine halls, visitors can expect a comprehensive offering covering living, building, household, hobbies, health, and culinary delights.

An admission ticket grants access to all concurrently running exhibitions, including the iENA inventors' fair and the Pet Expo. Hands-on activities and a diverse stage program make the fair a family experience.

Getting There

The Nuremberg Exhibition Centre is directly accessible from the city centre via U-Bahn line U1 (Messe station). By car, take the A73 (Nürnberg-Hafen/Messe exit), with parking available on site. From the main train station, it's about a 15-minute U-Bahn ride.

An Institution in the German Trade Fair Calendar

Consumenta in Nuremberg was founded in 1952 and has since become a fixture in the German trade fair calendar. Organized by AFAG Messen und Ausstellungen GmbH, it takes place annually in late autumn at the Nuremberg Exhibition Centre – in the Franconian metropolis of Nuremberg, Bavaria, the largest city in the Middle Franconia region.
