As the summer season on Rügen reaches its peak, the Sommergartenzauber brings its own, subtle yet colorful note to the Baltic Sea resort of Göhren. Three days, three stages, a program that deliberately balances high culture, folk theatre, and fun.

Daily Themes

Each day sets its own accent: Tuesday is dedicated to classical guitar, Argentinian music, and a gala concert; Wednesday brings Berlin jazz, an interactive children's concert, and a rock band party; Thursday mixes children's activities, live acts, and tribute sets with a DJ. This creates three evenings that are clearly distinct but share the same cozy atmosphere.

Region and Concept

The organizer is the Kurverwaltung Ostseebad Göhren (Poststraße 9). The concept comes from a series of summer events with which the small resort towns of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern aim to distinguish themselves from louder, larger events. Göhren, nestled in the Mönchgut Biosphere Reserve on the island of Rügen in the Vorpommern-Rügen district, presents itself at the Sommergartenzauber as a place for relaxed family holidays.
