A bridge is celebrated

The Göhren Pier, 280 meters long and inaugurated in 1993, is a symbol of the Baltic Sea resort's resurgence after reunification. It connects the town center with the open sea and serves as a meeting point for strollers, a landing stage for ships, and a spot for sunset photographers. The Seebrückentage festival honors this structure at the beginning of August with a three-day Volksfest (folk festival) right on the promenade.

Three days of program on the beach

• During the day: Live music from accordion orchestras, local bands, children's concerts, and maritime soundscapes
• Beach and promenade market with arts and crafts and snacks
• In the evening: DJ sets and dance parties on the forecourt of the Kurpavillon
• Tribute bands of the great classics (Rock, Pop, Schlager)
• Children's entertainment, craft stations, and interactive activities

Highlight: Fireworks over the Baltic Sea

The emotional climax is the grand fireworks display on Thursday evening around 11 PM. The fireworks rise against the dark silhouette of the pier and are reflected in the water – an image that draws many regular guests back to the Seebrückentage year after year.

Mönchgut and spa architecture

Göhren is part of the Mönchgut peninsula, a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve in the Vorpommern-Rügen district. The town's spa architecture, the amber wood promenade, and the wide sandy beach make the Seebrückentage more than just a town festival: they are a piece of northern German summer culture, supported by the Göhren Baltic Sea Resort administration and local associations.
