Major Rifle Club in the Wingst Ridge

With over 300 members, the Schützenverein Wingst-Zollbaum is one of the larger rifle clubs in the southeastern Cuxhaven district. The venue for the annual Schützenfest is the traditional Gasthaus Butt in Wingst — one of the established club restaurants in the region.

With the Blasmusikzug Wingst

A special feature: The festival is musically accompanied by the Blasmusikzug Wingst — one of the best-known brass music groups in the region. The marching band provides musical choreography during the parade and the festival evening, underscoring the traditional character of the event.

• Assembly of the marksmen on the festival day
• Waking-up by the Blasmusikzug Wingst
• Parade through the center of Wingst
• King's shooting at the shooting range
• Proclamation of the new shooting king
• Festival evening at Gasthaus Butt with catering and dance night
• Morning pint, family day, festival conclusion on the following day
