A New Format in the Kurgarten
The SoleKlangSommer is a concert series taking place for the first time in 2026 in the Royal Kurgarten of Bad Reichenhall in the Berchtesgadener Land district, Bavaria. The centerpiece is a newly installed summer stage between the Gradierhaus and the AlpenSole spring.
Brine, Sound, and Atmosphere
The format uniquely combines sound, atmosphere, and the mineral-rich brine air of the Kurgarten. It deliberately links the special features of the state spa Bad Reichenhall with Bayerisch Gmain: the Alpine salt, the Alpine brine, and the region's long tradition of spa music.
Musical Diversity
A total of eight concerts will take place over the summer season. The program combines classical sounds with jazz, pop, and regional music styles – an experience for every musical taste against the backdrop of the Berchtesgaden Alps.
Bad Reichenhall and Bayerisch Gmain Together
The SoleKlangSommer is jointly supported by Bad Reichenhall and the neighboring municipality of Bayerisch Gmain. With this new format, the two spa towns are creating a cultural highlight that connects the region's health-promoting climate tradition with contemporary concert culture.

The premiere season of the SoleKlangSommer begins on May 29, 2026. Over the summer season, a total of eight concerts will take place on the new summer stage between the Gradierhaus and the AlpenSole spring in the Royal Kurgarten.
