From August 6th to 9th, 2026, a former Soviet military airfield in the middle of the Fläming forest and heath landscape will transform into a pulsating dance floor. SHIFTED is an independent festival for lovers of Trance, Groove, and Hard Techno – a four-day weekend that feels like your favorite club, just bigger, outdoors, and with significantly more attention to detail. Acts like 6euroneunzig, DICE, and Paracek lead a lineup of over 60 international DJs. 85 km from Berlin, with shuttle service and on-site camping.

SHIFTED 2026 is once again extended to four days – from August 6th to 9th. The Secret Forest, a former Soviet military airfield in the Fläming heath, becomes the venue for a festival that promotes a "favorite club in the forest" atmosphere and deliberately sets itself apart from large mainstream open-airs.

The genre spectrum ranges from Trance at dawn, through Groove during the day, to Hard Techno at night. Two stages, clearly staged: a main stage with a futuristic look, a second stage with a 90s aesthetic.

Getting There

Take RE3 or RE5 from Berlin Hbf to Jüterbog, then a shuttle to the Secret Forest. By car, take the A9 (exit Niemegk) or A13. Parking is available on-site; separate tickets for cars and caravans.

Tip

Bring as little as possible without a car: the area is large, and the walk from the campsite to the stage can be long.

Secret Forest, Loud Sound

Since its inception in 2022, the SHIFTED Festival has become one of the most important independent Trance and Techno events in Brandenburg. The venue is the "Secret Forest" in Niedergörsdorf – a former Soviet military airfield in the Teltow-Fläming district, which has transformed into a surreal festival landscape after the Cold War. Abandoned hangars, vast heathlands, and dense forest form a backdrop that is unique in this form in Germany.

Trance, Groove, Hard Techno

SHIFTED is clear in its musical focus: three genres dominate the program. Trance in the early morning hours, Groove during the day, Hard Techno at night. This clarity sets SHIFTED apart from the genre-spanning multi-purpose festivals in the region. The audience comes specifically for the sound – not for the surrounding attractions.

Values and Awareness

The organizers emphasize an atmosphere that feels "like family": fair prices, high-quality sound systems, an active awareness team, and accessible facilities. Vacuum toilets and free showers at the campsite, a first-aid station, and continuous medical service are standard.

Getting There and Camping

The Secret Forest is located 85 km south of Berlin and 110 km north of Leipzig. Shuttle buses connect the nearest train station to the grounds. Camping is included; separate tickets are required for caravans and cars. Festival-goers come from all over Germany and Europe – the state of Brandenburg serves more as a backdrop than a home game.
