The Biker Meet at a Former Military Airfield

Since 1992, thousands of motorcyclists from all over Germany and neighboring countries have been drawn to the former Altes Lager airfield in the Niedergörsdorf district every July. The vast asphalt of the former runways – known as the “XXL Location” – offers space for thousands of bikes, several stages, a spacious camping area, and everything that belongs to a classic biker festival. The Motorcycle Jamboree is one of the oldest and largest biker meets in East Germany.

2026 — The 34th Edition

The 34th edition will take place from Thursday, July 16th, to Sunday, July 19th, 2026. Admission starts at 3 PM on Thursday. The 2026 band lineup is a mix of German rock, metal, folk, and country: Oomph! (pioneers of Neue Deutsche Härte), Krawallbrüder (German punk), Unantastbar (South Tyrolean German rock), My'tallica (Metallica tribute), Cultus Ferox (medieval rock), Ski's Country Trash (country rock), and Velvet Rush, as well as other international rock bands.

More Than Just Concerts — The Festival World

In addition to the stage program, the typical festival activities make the Jamboree special:

• Bike Show with Harley-Davidson and other brands — custom builds, old-school choppers, pre-unit machines.
• Biker Games — competitions ranging from slow races to fun contests.
• Tattoo Contest with prizes for the most creative and unusual designs.
• Boxing Tournament — a festival tradition established for years.
• Fire and Erotic Shows on the side stages.
• Fireworks and Laser Show to conclude the festival on Saturday evening.
• Merchandise mile with biker accessories, leather clothing, and custom parts.

Getting to Altes Lager

Altes Lager is a district of Niedergörsdorf in the Teltow-Fläming district, directly on the border with Saxony-Anhalt. The historic Altes Lager airfield was established in the early 20th century, later served as a garrison for the Wehrmacht and the NVA, and today hosts events of all kinds. By train, you can reach Jüterbog (RE3/RE4), from where bus line 769 will take you directly to the festival grounds, stop “Landebahn”.
