Shooting Tradition in the North Frisian Marsh

Hattstedt is a municipality in the Nordsee-Treene office in the district of Nordfriesland, in the northern German state of Schleswig-Holstein. The marsh village is located north of Husum, on the edge of the Husum Bay. As in many North German villages, the shooting tradition is an important part of village life — and its annual Schützenfest is one of the highlights in the Hattstedt event calendar.
