Six-part chamber music series in Schloss Friedrichsfelde in the middle of Tierpark Berlin
Schloss Friedrichsfelde is a baroque building from the late 17th century, located in the middle of Tierpark Berlin in the Friedrichsfelde district (Lichtenberg borough). It is one of Berlin's oldest palaces and was temporarily used as a residence for Prussian court officials. Today, the palace is part of the Tierpark and houses a museum as well as a concert hall where the Schlosskonzerte take place.
The Schlosskonzerte Tierpark form a six-part chamber music series. Six concerts are spread across late winter and spring, each on Thursdays at 7 p.m. (doors open at 6:15 p.m.). The program is thematically curated and features national and international soloists and ensembles.
In 2026, six programs will be presented on stage: the Viatores Quartett (string quartet), the Duo Artaria (violin & cello), pianist Juae Ha, the unusual duo Teresa Raff & Maxine Troglauer (harp & bass trombone), the Amelio Trio (piano trio), and the duo Øyvind Gimse & Per Arne Glorvigen (cello & bandoneon).
Tickets cost €35 for adults (aged 16 and over), €25 concessions (students, trainees, job seekers, severely disabled). Children up to 15 years old have free admission. The series is thus consciously positioned as an accessible introduction to chamber music for families.
