By car via the A9 (Berlin–Munich), exit Lützen, then head to the center. Approx. 30 minutes from Leipzig. By train: Lützen station is on the Leipzig–Weißenfels line.

Here, on November 16, 1632, one of the decisive battles of the Thirty Years' War took place, in which the Swedish King Gustav II Adolf met his death.
