The Schkeuditz Wine Festival will be held for the first time in 2026. Initiated by the city of Schkeuditz in cooperation with the St. Albanus Community Centre, the festival aims to establish a new tradition: an evening wine festival in a historic setting, in a city not otherwise known for viticulture, but rather for its proximity to Leipzig/Halle Airport and the Auenwald (floodplain forest).
