The Schanzer Herbstvolksfest is the autumn edition of the large Ingolstadt Volksfest (popular festival) held on the Volksfestplatz at Dreizehnerstraße. For ten days, festival tents with Bavarian hospitality, rides for young and old, a large market, and musical entertainment combine tradition and fun. Organized by the Cultural Office of the City of Ingolstadt, the »Schanzer« – as the people of Ingolstadt call their festival – is one of the social highlights of autumn in the city on the Danube.

The Autumn Festival of the Schanzer
