Once a year, the town in the Middle Franconian district of Ansbach celebrates its Summer Fair – a classic Franconian Volksfest held just outside the gates of the historic old town.

Festival Grounds at Spitaltor

The venue is the P1 festival grounds at Spitaltor, easily accessible via Friedrich-Hörner-Weg. Here, amusement rides, stalls, and booths line up. A cozy beer garden invites visitors to linger – as the official program emphasizes, the popular beer garden, where guests can fortify themselves with drinks and fine specialties, is back again "as in the previous year".
