Open-air concert series in the baroque castle park of the Inn-Salzach region
Every summer, the Raiffeisen Kultursommer hosts a top-class concert series in the Tüßling castle park in the Altötting district (Bavaria). The stage and audience area are set up in the English garden behind the moated castle – creating an intimate open-air atmosphere against a historic backdrop with old tree-lined avenues, ponds, and a view of the baroque castle ensemble.
The concert series focuses on stars of German-language pop, rock, and Schlager music, as well as international acts. Past and future headliners include artists such as Roland Kaiser, Michael Patrick Kelly, Mark Forster, Helene Fischer, Andreas Bourani, Andrea Berg, and other comparable stars. Typically, three to five concerts are scheduled each summer, each with its own headliner and tour show.
The organizer is COFO Entertainment GmbH & Co. KG, based in Passau, Lower Bavaria – one of Germany's most experienced concert promoters, which has been producing open-airs, arena concerts, and tours for over three decades. The Raiffeisen Kultursommer is one of the flagship events in the COFO summer calendar, supported by eponymous sponsorship from the region's Raiffeisen banks.
Tüßling is a small market town in the Altötting district in southeastern Bavaria, located on the Munich–Mühldorf–Simbach railway line. Its landmark is the Wasserschloss Tüßling, a 16th-century Renaissance and Baroque ensemble, which is privately owned today and opens its doors for selected events. The English castle park with its mature trees forms the natural backdrop for the concert stage.
Travel is possible via the Munich–Mühldorf–Burghausen railway line (Tüßling station) or via the B299 / A94 federal highway. Tickets are available through Eventim and CTS-Eventim. The stage has a limited capacity, so concerts regularly sell out in advance.
The 2026 summer edition runs from July 23 to 26, 2026, in Tüßling Castle Park and brings together three of the most successful artists in German-language pop. The stage will again be set up in the English garden behind the moated castle – an open-air experience with a view of the Renaissance ensemble.
The organizer is COFO Entertainment GmbH & Co. KG from Passau. Tickets are available via Eventim and the COFO ticket hotline. Concerts start at 8:00 PM each evening, with admission accordingly earlier.
Exact admission times, stage times, and supporting programs will be announced before the concerts on raiffeisen-kultursommer.com. July 24 is a rest day between concerts.
By Train: Munich Central Station – Mühldorf – Tüßling (RB / RE, approx. 1:45 from Munich). From Tüßling station, it's about a 15-minute walk to the castle park. By Car: Take the A94 Munich–Mühldorf, then the B299 towards Burghausen. Parking is signposted; Park & Ride is recommended.
Ticket Hotline: 01806 – 57 00 55 (8 AM–8 PM, €0.20/call from landline, max. €0.60/call from mobile). Online via eventim.de. Concerts tend to sell out quickly in advance – booking early is advised.
Admission and concert start times vary per concert (usually 6:00 PM / 8:00 PM). Food and drinks are available on-site. In case of bad weather, concerts may proceed with rain gear – there is no roof.
