Open-Air Stage in the Baroque Castle Park
Every summer, the Raiffeisen Kultursommer hosts a top-class concert series in the Tüßling castle park in the Altötting district (Bavaria). The stage and audience area are set up in the English garden behind the moated castle – creating an intimate open-air atmosphere against a historic backdrop with old tree-lined avenues, ponds, and a view of the baroque castle ensemble.
Top-Class Artist Profiles
The concert series focuses on stars of German-language pop, rock, and Schlager music, as well as international acts. Past and future headliners include artists such as Roland Kaiser, Michael Patrick Kelly, Mark Forster, Helene Fischer, Andreas Bourani, Andrea Berg, and other comparable stars. Typically, three to five concerts are scheduled each summer, each with its own headliner and tour show.
Organizer COFO Entertainment
The organizer is COFO Entertainment GmbH & Co. KG, based in Passau, Lower Bavaria – one of Germany's most experienced concert promoters, which has been producing open-airs, arena concerts, and tours for over three decades. The Raiffeisen Kultursommer is one of the flagship events in the COFO summer calendar, supported by eponymous sponsorship from the region's Raiffeisen banks.
Tüßling and the Moated Castle
Tüßling is a small market town in the Altötting district in southeastern Bavaria, located on the Munich–Mühldorf–Simbach railway line. Its landmark is the Wasserschloss Tüßling, a 16th-century Renaissance and Baroque ensemble, which is privately owned today and opens its doors for selected events. The English castle park with its mature trees forms the natural backdrop for the concert stage.
Travel and Tickets
Travel is possible via the Munich–Mühldorf–Burghausen railway line (Tüßling station) or via the B299 / A94 federal highway. Tickets are available through Eventim and CTS-Eventim. The stage has a limited capacity, so concerts regularly sell out in advance.
