Overview

The Plaza Culinaria 2025 took place from November 7th to 9th at Messe Freiburg. Around 30,000 gourmet fans from the tri-border region of Germany/France/Switzerland experienced thematic worlds ranging from Black Forest specialties to Asian cuisine, live cooking with top chefs, workshops, and the Plaza Late Night with sommeliers and distillers.

Plaza Culinaria 2025 — Review

In 2025, Plaza Culinaria once again confirmed its position as Southern Germany's leading gourmet fair. Over three days, around 200 exhibitors from Germany, France, and Switzerland presented their specialties in the halls of Messe Freiburg. The thematic division into GenussAsien, Genuss in Balance, Genussreich Schwarzwald, GenussFestival, and Food Rockerz allowed visitors a focused journey of discovery through the vast offerings.

Highlights included the live cooking sessions in the Kochstudio with renowned chefs from the tri-border region, as well as the evening Plaza Late Night formats with wine tastings and gin specialties. FWTM Freiburg, the organizer, drew a consistently positive conclusion — Plaza Culinaria 2026 is the direct continuation of this proven concept.
