Gut Saathain – Renaissance in Southern Brandenburg

Gut Saathain at Am Park 5, 04932 Röderland OT Saathain, is a historic Renaissance manor house with half-timbered sections dating back to the 16th century. With its rose garden, park, and outbuildings, it is considered one of the better-preserved noble estates in southern Brandenburg (Elbe-Elster district, near the Saxon border). Today, it houses a café, event spaces, and accommodation.

Picnic in Black and White – The Concept

The "Picnic in Black and White" concert format combines two elements:

• Open-Air Concert with a selected band in the rose garden.
• BYO Picnic (Bring-your-own): Guests bring their own blankets, food, and drinks – the estate provides only the atmosphere.
• Black and White Dress Code – the recommendation for guests to appear in appropriate attire creates a particularly uniform and elegant impression.
• Seating on the lawn, filtered late afternoon sun, rose fragrance.

Performance by the Copperfox Band

On Sunday, August 9, 2026, starting at 5 PM, the Copperfox Band will play a cross-section of Jazz, Pop, and Rock classics – acoustically arranged versions of well-known hits, ideal for the picnic atmosphere. The band performs several times a year in Brandenburg and Saxony and specializes in such atmospheric open-air formats.

Tickets and Schedule

• Tickets: €12 per person.
• Advance sales via the website gut-saathain.de.
• Concert start: 5 PM (admission from approx. 4 PM).
• Duration: approx. 2 hours.
• What to bring: Picnic blanket or folding chair, food, drinks. If you wish, wear black and white attire.
• Weather: Open Air – in case of extreme bad weather, relocation to the estate's hall.

Röderland and Elbe-Elster

The municipality of Röderland was formed from the merger of several villages along the Pulsnitz and Röderland rivers. The Elbe-Elster district is located in southern Brandenburg, between Lusatia and the Saxon state border.
