The Pfingst-Pfarrfest Birkesdorf is a tradition of the Catholic parish in the Birkesdorf district of Düren, maintained for generations. The Community of Parishes (GdG) St. Francis connects several parish communities in northern Düren — Birkesdorf, Mariaweiler, Hoven, and others. The Pentecost parish festival on Saturday and Sunday, May 23–24, 2026, is one of the most important identity events of the GdG.
