The Pain & Gain Festival is a one-day metal festival that takes place on the grounds of ASV Zirndorf at Schwabacher Straße 51 in the district of Fürth, in the state of Bavaria. The festival is organized by the Black Metal band Totenlegion, led by Thomas Keller, and stands for an authentic, family-run underground experience.

A Broad Spectrum of Extreme Genres

Musically, the festival covers the entire spectrum of extreme metal: Dark Metal, Black Metal, Death Metal, and Thrash Metal are represented equally. The headliner for 2026 is the well-known German Dark Metal band Eisregen. The lineup is complemented by bands from Germany, Switzerland, the Netherlands, and Austria, giving the manageable festival an international flair.

With an expected attendance in the low triple digits, the Pain & Gain Festival is deliberately kept small.
