The OVIGO Theater, a well-known theatre group in the Upper Palatinate, will bring the classic "Robin Hood" to the stage as an open-air play in 2026. The Story
The production follows the young Robin of Locksley, who comes into conflict with the law and stands up against injustice. The focus is on the triumph of good over evil and the longing for freedom. The play is based on the version by John von Düffel and captivates with its clever dialogue, many humorous moments, and action.
Direction and Ensemble
The direction is by Regensburg-based theatre educator Manuel Knoll. Musical elements are choreographed by Susanne Hutzler. The main roles include Elisa von Stern as Robin Hood and Emma Igl as the Sheriff of Nottingham.
