Burg Löffelstelz in Mühlacker's Dürrmenz district is a partially preserved castle ruin — a romantic site above the Enz valley with views into the vastness of the Kraichgau. In summer, the city of Mühlacker hosts a small open-air concert series here: three concerts, each in the castle ruins, with fixed seating in the tiered structure (capacity around 250 seats). The event is, in a way, the counter-format to the region's large open-air festivals: small, intimate, with a clear concert atmosphere rather than a festival character.

2026 Program — Three Concerts, Three Styles

The 2026 programming deliberately focuses on different styles, catering to the audience over three weekends: Boppin'B (Friday, July 3, 8 PM) brings Rock'n'Roll and Rockabilly to the castle — the band has been a fixture of the German Rockabilly scene for 25 years, with powerful live shows and classic genre hits. Illuminated Diamonds (Friday, July 17, 7:30 PM) is a collaboration between two regional bands: Diana & The Diamonds and Blindside play a program of Rock and Pop together — a charming form of regional talent promotion. Le Clique (Saturday, July 25, 3 PM) is the electronic edition of the series, now in its 7th year — modern beats, House, Electronica in the unusual acoustics of a castle ruin.

Burg Löffelstelz is a small, picturesque site — not a large castle ruin, but an intimate place with remnants of walls, a courtyard, and a natural semi-circular character that is ideal for concerts with fixed seating. The acoustics under the open sky are surprisingly good — the wall remnants reflect the sound without compressing it too much. An atmosphere that is particularly effective in the warm summer light or as dusk settles over the castle walls. Events take place, "regardless of weather conditions, excluding storms and heavy rain" — in case of heavy rain, it will be relocated or postponed.

Advance ticket sales for 2026 began on December 1, 2025 — tickets are available at the Mühlacker Adult Education Centre (in person) or online via Reservix. Prices: Advance sale €14–€20, Box office €16–€20, discounts available for students, trainees, and severely disabled persons (80%+). Children under 6 have free admission.
