27th edition of the large classic car meeting at Nordenham's market square with rally, exhibition, parts market, and Fashion Cup
Since its inception, the Nordenhamer Oldtimertage has developed into one of the most significant classic car events in northwestern Lower Saxony. With its 27th edition in 2026, Nordenham's market square will once again provide the setting for a weekend full of historic automobiles, classic motorcycles, and lovingly restored commercial vehicles.
Vehicles built up to 1996 are permitted. The spectrum ranges from pre-war sedans to post-war roadsters and coupés from the 1950s and 1960s, and youngtimers from the 1980s and early 1990s. The organizers once again expect over 400 vehicles — making the Nordenhamer Oldtimertage a top-tier meeting in the North German classic car scene.
The event kicks off on Saturday with the classic car rally, which starts at 10 AM from the market square. The rally will take participants along selected routes through the Wesermarsch region — along the Weser river, through the rural landscape, and past characteristic buildings of the region. Participants will experience their vehicles in motion, while the public can follow the start and arrival at the market square.
On Sunday, the exhibition takes center stage. A jury will assess the vehicles and award prizes in various categories. Simultaneously, the parts market opens, where private sellers and commercial dealers offer spare parts, accessories, and literature related to classic vehicles. A highlight is the Fashion Cup, where participants are judged in period clothing matching their vehicles.
The Nordenhamer Oldtimertage caters to both passionate collectors and families: the market square offers short distances, food stalls, and seating. Admission is free.
With its 27th edition, the Nordenhamer Oldtimertage continues its success story. Both the Saturday rally and the Sunday exhibition are expected to attract a four-figure number of visitors again.
Registration as a participant with a vehicle must be done in advance via the official festival website. Classes, evaluation criteria, and the rally route will be published there in detail.
