48 Hours of Fantasy in Hamburg-Billstedt

NordCon is one of the oldest and largest conventions for fantasy, role-playing, and speculative fiction in Germany. Since 1986, the Förderkreis Phantastik in Hamburg e.V. has organized the festival, which takes place every year in June on the grounds of the Brüder-Grimm-Schule in the Hamburg district of Billstedt. For 48 hours, the community plays, reads, fights, schemes, and celebrates non-stop.

Around 7,000 Visitors Annually

With approximately 7,000 visitors each year, NordCon is one of Germany's largest fantasy conventions. Attendees travel from all over Northern Germany, Scandinavia, the Netherlands, and Poland – for many, the convention is considered a reunion for the scene.

Hamburg-Billstedt, District of Hamburg-Mitte

The venue is the Brüder-Grimm-Schule at Steinadlerweg 26 in Billstedt. The U2 subway station Legienstraße is five minutes away; it's a 20-minute public transport ride from the main train station. Located in the Hamburg-Mitte district, the convention benefits from good transport links and a quiet school campus, which is ideal for the 48-hour event.
