Three days of electronic music on the Elbe riverbank at Cruise Center Altona
The Hamburg Cruise Center Altona at Van-der-Smissen-Straße 5 is located directly on the Elbe riverbank, in the Ottensen district, Altona borough. Cruise ships of the Hapag-Lloyd class and international liners dock here — a harbor backdrop that shapes the festival setting: containers in the background, harbor cranes, ships passing by during sets, the wide Elbe river as a natural boundary.
The festival spans three days and multiple stages. Around 30 local and international DJs curate the program — the musical spectrum ranges from classic Techno and Electro to Melodic Techno and African House (a genre corner that has grown significantly in recent years). Food trucks and several bars cater to visitors.
Confirmed acts for the 2026 edition include Massano (Italian Melodic Techno star), TH;EN (Berlin duo with a characteristic analog sound), Pauli Pocket (Hamburg scene heavyweight), Prismode & Solvane, Nina Hepburn, Bizzarro Universe, and Nikiija. The full line-up will be published in the weeks before the festival on noi-sy.com.
Unlike many Techno festivals, Noisy runs as a daytime event — consciously not a 24/7 marathon. The organizers want to connect visitors with the Elbe riverbank scenery rather than confine them to indoor halls. Those who fancy continuing the party at night will find numerous afterparty locations in the St. Pauli and Altona-Altstadt districts.
The festival is accessible to ages 18 and over. No camping is possible (day event). Paid parking is available on-site, but the organizers recommend public transport. Travel by train to Hamburg Hauptbahnhof, then take the S-Bahn S1 to Königstraße. Alternatively, take the ferry 62 to Dockland with a short walk.
The Ottensen district in Altona borough has developed into one of Hamburg's most vibrant cultural centers over the last 20 years — with theaters, concert venues like Hafenklang (the nearby feel.jazz festival runs there) and a growing electronic music scene. The Noisy Festival utilizes this infrastructure and complements it with an open-air format directly on the water.
The festival returns to the Hamburg Cruise Center Altona in 2026. Three days of programming, multiple stages, food trucks, and bars on the Elbe riverbank. The musical programming includes Techno, Electro, Melodic Techno, and African House — a stylistic breadth that clearly distinguishes the festival from more genre-specific Hamburg formats like Modus Festival or 45Hertz Open Air.
