With global hits like 99 Luftballons, Leuchtturm (Lighthouse), Liebe ist (Love Is), and Anyplace, Anywhere, Anytime, Nena has developed into one of the most successful German-speaking artists since the 1980s. With over 25 million records sold worldwide, she is an icon of German pop history. In 2026, Nena is coming to Eberswalde in the Barnim district for an open-air concert – at the Familiengarten's open-air stage.

Four Decades on One Stage

The concert promises “over two hours of hits and rarities from four decades”, performed with a ten-piece live band. After her successful 2024 tour “WIR GEHÖREN ZUSAMMEN", which mobilized around 150,000 spectators, Nena will also present songs from her latest studio album “Licht" (Light) on the current tour – a mix of folky anthems and electronic, danceable tracks.

The Familiengarten Eberswalde

The Familiengarten Eberswalde is a 17-hectare park and experience area on the outskirts of Eberswalde, the district town of Barnim. The site was created from the former industrial area around the old rolling mill and is now a venue for open-air concerts, family festivals, and leisure activities. The open-air stage in the Familiengarten offers a unique concert experience in a green setting – with the charm of a post-industrial backdrop that characterizes the area.

Eberswalde and the Barnim Region

Eberswalde is located about 50 kilometers northeast of Berlin and is the district town of Barnim. The Barnim region is a forest-rich area with the Barnim Nature Park and the Schorfheide-Chorin Biosphere Reserve right on its doorstep. Eberswalde itself is home to the Eberswalde University for Sustainable Development and is one of Germany's most important forestry locations.
