Neifeier, Children's and Market Festival Neustadt

The three-part festival weekend in Neustadt bei Coburg 2026 will be celebrated from July 10 to 12. On Friday, July 10, the Neifeier opens on the market square with live music and refreshments. On Saturday, July 11, the traditional Children's Festival follows: after the musical wake-up call, a grand parade with schoolchildren, music bands, and floats proceeds through the town at 1 p.m., with additional programs on the Schützenplatz. On Sunday, July 12, the Market Festival concludes with folk music starting at 11 a.m. and afternoon entertainment. Admission is free.

Getting There

Neustadt bei Coburg is located in the district of Coburg in Upper Franconia, near the border with Thuringia. Arrive by car via the B 89; train stop Neustadt (b Coburg). Schützenplatz and Marktplatz are centrally located and within walking distance.

Admission to the entire festival weekend is free. Costs are incurred for food, drinks, and entertainment.
