Sommer im Park — the new face of »Swing im Park«
Anyone who knows Neustadt bei Coburg in the Upper Franconian district of Coburg also knows the annual summer festival at the Villeneuve-sur-Lot Leisure Park. The »Swing im Park«, developed over many years, has become the fresher concept »Sommer im Park« in 2025: three days of programming from Friday evening to Sunday afternoon, packed with comedy, regional live bands, a dance show, culinary highlights from the French partner city — and a classic family day to conclude.
What makes the festival special
- Variety instead of a single stage: Comedy night, live music, Moulin Rouge dance show, and children's program alternate.
- French Flair: Wines and specialties from Villeneuve-sur-Lot are served on-site — a tribute to the town twinning that gave the park its name.

Getting There
By car, you can reach the Villeneuve-sur-Lot Leisure Park in a few minutes from the A73 (Coburg exit). By train, travel to Neustadt b.Coburg and walk for about 15 minutes. Parking is signposted in the immediate vicinity.
Tickets and Admission
Sunday is traditionally free admission and aimed at families. Separate tickets are sold for the comedy night on Friday and the concert/show program on Saturday (advance booking at reservix.de and at kultur.werk.stadt, Bahnhofstraße 22). Prices are typically around €4 in advance or €6 at the box office for Saturday; comedy tickets are higher.
