Seasonal Markets at Rosengarten

Rosengarten Zweibrücken organizes two major garden markets throughout the year, reflecting the seasonal cycle: the Rose and Garden Market in June (spring/early summer) and the Herbst-Gartenmarkt (Autumn Garden Market) in September (season closing). Both markets attract visitors from the entire Palatinate-Saar region and utilize the unique setting of one of Europe's most significant rose gardens.

Autumn Assortment

The Herbst-Gartenmarkt focuses on plants and products suitable for the autumn and winter season: autumn and winter perennials, chrysanthemums, asters, ornamental grasses, heather, indoor potted plants, autumnal floral arrangements made from berries, branches, and dried flowers, garden furniture for the transitional season, and accessories for winter protection.

Around 60 Exhibitors

Approximately 60 exhibitors present their range in the garden. Compared to the June market (over 70 exhibitors), the autumn market is slightly more compact but more focused in content – the exhibitors strongly tailor their offerings to the season. Plant selection, garden furniture, tools, and handicrafts are the main focuses.

Guided Tours and Culinary Delights

Accompanying the market, guided tours through the autumnal Rosengarten are offered. Even though the main blooming period is long past, the garden reveals itself in a special light in autumn – the colours of the deciduous trees, the last rose blooms, the rose hips. The café and restaurant in Rosengarten offer autumn specialties.
