Emersacker in the Augsburger Land
Emersacker is a small municipality in the Augsburg district with around 1500 inhabitants, located in the northern Augsburger Land on the border between Swabia and Middle Franconia. In May 2026, two important club dates coincide: the Music Festival of the Musikverein Emersacker and the Vehicle Consecration of the Volunteer Fire Brigade Emersacker. The two clubs are hosting their festival together at the Gemeindestadl – the center of village life.
Music Festival with Friendly Bands
The music festival follows the classic pattern of Swabian club festivals: on Saturday evening, a dance evening with a live band or party band, on Sunday, a festival service, parade, and Frühschoppen with friendly bands. The Musikverein Emersacker, with its main band and youth orchestra, belongs to ASM District 15 (Allgäu-Schwäbischer Musikbund) and maintains close relationships with neighboring bands.
Vehicle Consecration of the FFW
The highlight of Sunday is the vehicle consecration: a new operational vehicle of the Volunteer Fire Brigade Emersacker will be consecrated by the local pastor as part of the festival service – a traditional Bavarian ceremony of great importance in the region. Friendly fire brigades from the Augsburg district participate in the parade.
Swabian Club Festival
The Gemeindestadl offers covered catering with Swabian specialties, beer, and wine. Free admission to the festival service and Frühschoppen, possibly with a consumption card in the evening. A festival for the whole family and all friends of brass music.

Getting There
Emersacker is located in the Augsburg district, about 30 km northwest of Augsburg. Accessible via the A8 and B2 towards Donauwörth, then take the exit towards Welden/Emersacker. The Gemeindestadl is located in the town center.

Tip
The parade on Sunday with friendly music bands and fire brigades from the Augsburger Land is the most spectacular part of the program. Those who want to experience the Frühschoppen with brass music should come directly after the festival service.
