Musical Open-Air in the Historic Park of the Rittergut

The Musical Nights at Rittergut Birkhof are a young, quickly popular format in the west of Korschenbroich. Organizer Marc Pesch Concerts brings a two-day open-air production to the historic estate with the show troupe Musicalpeople – soloists with stage experience from Hamburg, Cologne, and Stuttgart, accompanied by an eight-piece live band. Chairs are set up in the park with free seating, alongside food trucks and drink stands. A concept that clearly stands out from the indoor atmosphere of large musical theaters.

Date 2026: June 5th and 6th

The 2026 edition takes place on Friday, June 5th, and Saturday, June 6th, 2026. Both evenings begin with admission at 6:30 PM and performance start at 8:15 PM.

Two Very Different Programs

Friday, June 5th: "Mein Ding – Musicals and Rock Made in Germany"

The opening evening focuses on German musical productions:

• "Hinterm Horizont" (Udo Lindenberg) – Berlin, fall of the Wall, love, and rebellion
• "Abenteuerland" (Pur)
• "Wahnsinn" (Wolfgang Petry)
• Further hits from the German rock and Schlager world in musical arrangements

Admission: €34.90 per person.

Saturday, June 6th: International Blockbusters

The second evening celebrates international successes:

• "Mamma Mia" – the greatest ABBA hits from the worldwide hit musical
• "Ich war noch niemals in New York" – Udo Jürgens, sung by Karim Khawatmi in the lead role
• Dance, choreography, costumes

Admission: €37.90 regular, €14.90 reduced (children and students).

The Musicalpeople

The Musicalpeople are a regular troupe of professional musical performers who have been staging open-air concerts in NRW for years. Stylistically, they move between classic musical performance and concert show: without elaborate stage sets, but with a strong live band and a focus on the voices. Well-known soloists from the troupe have performed in "Tarzan", "Mamma Mia!", "Tanz der Vampire", and "Sister Act".

Rittergut Birkhof – A Place with History

The Rittergut Birkhof is located in the Korschenbroich district of Pesch, in the north of the Rhein-Kreis Neuss. The historic estate dates back to the 16th century and is now used as an event venue, hotel, and restaurant. The extensive park with old trees and meadows offers an unusually atmospheric setting for open-air concerts. Unlike large festival stages, the audience here is close to the action.

Korschenbroich – Small Town Between Mönchengladbach and Düsseldorf

Korschenbroich has around 33,000 inhabitants and is located between Mönchengladbach and Neuss. The town is known for its Schützenfest, which attracts thousands of visitors annually. With the Musical Nights, a new, modern cultural format has been added in recent years – complementing the traditional club culture.
