The Molenfeuer is one of the most beautiful New Year's Eve moments in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. When darkness falls over the Hanseatic city of Stralsund on the last evening of the year, numerous people gather at the harbour to experience spectacular fireworks.

Light Flowers over the Strelasund

The fireworks are launched from the Nordmole and unfold over the Strelasund. Colourful light flowers rise into the night sky and are reflected in the waters of the Sund – an image that impressively showcases the city's maritime location.
