On July 4 and 5, 2026, the Wahlstedt Schützenplatz will be transformed into a historical festival ground. The occasion is the town's 875th anniversary — Wahlstedt celebrates with a grand medieval spectacle, organized by Schlangenschrein Events.

Wahlstedt is a small town in the Boostedt-Rickling office in the Segeberg district, in the state of Schleswig-Holstein. In 2026, the town with around 9,400 inhabitants will celebrate its 875th anniversary. A highlight of the festivities: the grand medieval festival on the Schützenplatz.
