About Immergut Festival

The Immergut Festival is an institution of the German indie scene: a lovingly handmade open air that has taken place every early summer by the Bürgersee in Neustrelitz since 2000. The program features indie rock, folk, electro, and everything in between — performed for a maximum of 5,000 visitors, which gives the festival its particularly intimate, almost familiar character. Immergut is run by the non-profit association Immergut e.V., completely voluntarily and without major sponsors. Those who come here are not looking for a mass frenzy, but for the good feeling of experiencing music among like-minded people — in the middle of the Mecklenburg Lake District.

The 26th edition of the Immergut Festival in 2026 is themed »So ein Kuddelmuddel« and will once again bring hand-picked indie rock, folk, and electro to the Bürgersee in Neustrelitz from May 28 to 30. The lineup features established names and international newcomers on the single festival stage — intimate, curated, and for a maximum of 5,000 visitors.

The Immergut Festival 2026 will take place from May 28 to 30 under the motto »So ein Kuddelmuddel«. As usual, the festival remains limited to around 5,000 visitors, thus retaining its familiar character.

The lineup combines German and international acts from indie rock, pop, folk, and electro. Confirmed artists include Mine, Die Höchste Eisenbahn, Jehnny Beth, Sprints, EBBB, Blvth, Sorry (GB), La Sécurité (Canada), quickly, quickly, Chloe Slater, Brockhoff, Kapa Tult, Dressed Like Boys (Belgium), Ellis·D, Fuffifufzich, Nina Hepburn, Peki Momés, Sveamaus, and Valentino Vivace (Switzerland).

The concerts are traditionally accompanied by readings, workshops, and relaxed camping right by the lake.

Getting There

By train to Neustrelitz station, from there a few minutes to the festival grounds on the Bürgersee. By car via the A 96 / B 96 towards Neustrelitz.

Camping

The campsite is included in the festival ticket and is located directly on the grounds.
