Camping, Lake, and Music in the Franconian Lake District
The MeinSeenland.de CamperFestival is an outdoor and camper festival on the Absberg peninsula at the Kleiner Brombachsee, in the Weißenburg-Gunzenhausen district (Middle Franconia, Bavaria). The peninsula, with its approximately 1,300 meters of sandy beach, small forests, and meadows, forms the natural stage for a weekend that combines camping, water sports, and live music.
From Tent to Truck
The festival consciously aims to be open: "from tent to truck – all campers are welcome." It is aimed at camping enthusiasts as well as day visitors who want to experience the program and the Lake District scenery. Overnight stays are directly on the Absberg campsite.
Active Program on the Water
The activity program ranges from wakeboarding at the wakeboard facility to SUP yoga, workshops, lectures, and guided tours through the Franconian Lake District. Several sandy beaches, sports fields, an aquapark, and rental stations for SUPs, boats, longboards, and bicycles are available on site. In the evenings, campfires and concerts create a festival atmosphere.
Close to Nature and Manageable
Unlike large commercial open-airs, the CamperFestival focuses on a natural, family-friendly setting. The combination of lake access, water sports, music, and camping makes it a regular event in early summer for outdoor fans from southern Germany.
