The Marktfest Schmidmühlen is a firmly established village festival in the market community of Schmidmühlen in the Amberg-Sulzbach district, Bavaria. It dates back to the castle garden festivals of local clubs in the 1960s, which were merged into a joint market festival in 1978 at the suggestion of the tourism association. The market community of Schmidmühlen is the organizer.
