Rennertshofen is a Bavarian market town in the Neuburg-Schrobenhausen district, located in the western Donaumoos region between the Danube and Ries. The Marktfest Rennertshofen is the annual major event where the local economy and club life celebrate themselves and present themselves to the public. Craft businesses, traders, clubs, and interested parties from the entire municipality are invited to shape the festival with their own stalls, offers, and contributions.

Vintage Tractor Meeting on Sunday

A special highlight of the 2026 edition is the vintage tractor meeting with a joint drive on Sunday. Enthusiasts of old Lanz Bulldog, Deutz, Eicher, and other historic tractors will meet in Rennertshofen, present their restored treasures, and then take part in a parade drive through the surrounding area. For those interested in technology and families, it's a visual and auditory experience – the old single-cylinder engines have an unmistakable chug.

Market Festival in a New Format

Unlike in previous years, the market municipality is dispensing with a central beverage service in 2026. Instead, each exhibitor will take care of catering to their stand visitors themselves – with their own seating and their own beverage selection. This decentralization ensures more variety and relieves the burden on volunteers. The market festival is coordinated by the town hall administration (Petra Birgmeier).
