About Malente Community Festival

The Malente Community Festival is the annual summer festival of the municipality of Bad Malente-Gremsmühlen in the Ostholstein district. The municipality, Malente Tourismus und Service GmbH, and Gemeindewerke Malente invite citizens and guests to a joint celebration in the Kurpark. The official part takes place in the Kursaal, after which the Kurpark, with its large meadows, trees, and water features, offers the perfect setting for information stands, hands-on activities, and live entertainment. Clubs, schools, churches, and initiatives from Malente present themselves at the stalls – from the fire brigade and sports club to tourism providers in Holstein Switzerland. Free admission.

On Saturday, June 13, 2026, the municipality of Malente once again invites you to its traditional community festival in the Kurpark. The mayor and board will welcome guests in the Kursaal with the official part – speeches, awards, and musical contributions – before the event moves to the Kurpark. There, information stands, hands-on activities, and the open-air stage with live entertainment will open.

Clubs, schools, churches, and institutions from Malente and the surrounding area will present themselves to citizens and guests. Food stalls will provide visitors with food and drinks, many of them from Malente's gastronomy and clubs.

Getting There

You can reach Malente via the A1 (Eutin exit) and the B76. By train to Bad Malente-Gremsmühlen (Lübeck–Kiel line). Malente station is only 200 meters from the Kurpark.
