Wine Enjoyment in the Farming Town
Mainbernheim, affectionately called "Bernem," is a wonderfully preserved historic farming town in the Kitzingen district on the edge of the Steigerwald. In the Old Turngarten, the Mainbernheim Wine Community hosts its summer wine festival – a cozy, family-friendly celebration of the town's viticulture.
Dornberg and Bernemer Secco
The wines and sparkling wine from the local Schalk & Rausch winery, which has been based in Mainbernheim since 2019, are presented. In the glass: the Mainbernheimer Dornberg and the lively "Bernemer Secco." Accompanying these are Franconian sausages from the charcoal grill and other regional delicacies.
Summer Evening with Music
Musical entertainment accompanies the evening in the charming Old Turngarten. The Mainbernheim Wine Festival is a typical example of the lived wine culture of the small wine villages in the Kitzingen region – down-to-earth, convivial, and focused entirely on enjoying one's own wine.
