Pforzheim's Live Music Night — Analogy to the Barparade

Since 2024, the Liveparade Pforzheim has been the younger musical sibling of the established Barparade (May). While the Barparade focuses on DJ sets in Pforzheim bars, the Liveparade focuses on live bands in the same locations — and shifts the date to autumn. In 2026, the 3rd edition will take place on Saturday, October 17, 2026, starting at 10:00 PM. The concept: 15 bands in 15 locations in Pforzheim's city centre — with one ticket, you can freely switch between all locations and experience a true musical city tour in one night.

Genres — Across the Local Music Scene

The musical spectrum reflects the diversity of the Pforzheim and Southern German live music scene:

• Salsa — Latin American dance rhythms
• Jazz — from classical to modern
• Pop — Covers and originals
• Rock — Classic Rock to Indie Rock
• Indie — Alternative singer-songwriters and bands
• Blues — as an atmospheric genre for intimate settings

Comedy Opening in the TurmQuartier

The programme begins with a comedy opening at 9:00 PM in the TurmQuartier — a Pforzheim comedy format that officially kicks off the Liveparade night. Only afterwards, from 10:00 PM, do the 15 bands start in the 15 locations spread across the city centre.

Support for the Local Cultural Scene

A declared goal of the Liveparade is the support of the local cultural scene. By bringing live bands to bars and small venues — instead of a central festival ground — Pforzheim musicians, bars, and hosts are directly supported. The intimate atmosphere of the small venues (instead of large festival stages) allows for direct contact between musicians and the audience — something that large festivals often lose.

Pforzheim — The Gold City with an Active Bar Scene

Pforzheim (urban district 08231, around 127,000 inhabitants) is the southwestern German Gold City on the northern edge of the Black Forest. The city centre has developed an active bar and local scene in recent years, with small cocktail bars, live music venues, and restaurants — which form exactly the right infrastructure for a distributed live music festival. The Liveparade consistently utilizes this infrastructure.

After-Show Parties Late into the Night

A special feature: the Liveparade ticket includes free entry to four exclusive after-show parties, which start after the live bands finish (around 2:00 AM) and run late into the night. This extends the festival night into a real weekend marathon. Ages 18+.
