Schloss Neuhaus in Paderborn is one of the few completely preserved Renaissance palaces in Westphalia — built between 1530 and 1591 as a moated castle for the Prince-Bishops of Paderborn. With its four towers, the palace park, the carp pond, and the sundial niche, the ensemble forms one of the most beautiful palace complexes in Germany. From August 13th to 16th, 2026, this very palace park will become the stage for the Landpartie Schloss Neuhaus — a four-day lifestyle fair for garden, living, indulgence, and culture.

The exhibitor profile of the Landpartie extends far beyond classic garden fairs. Represented are: Garden specialists (perennial nurseries, rose breeders, bonsai, floristry), home accessories (outdoor furniture, lamps, sculptures, textiles), fashion manufacturers (natural fashion, leather goods, handmade shoes), indulgence (artisan cheese dairies, wineries, chocolate makers, beekeepers, preserves), arts and crafts (ceramics, glass, silver, woodwork), and culture (bookstores, small galleries, lifestyle magazines). The organizer is Rainer Timpe GmbH from Bad Pyrmont, which, under the brand "Timpe Landpartien," hosts lifestyle fairs in historic palaces, palace parks, and monastery complexes throughout Germany. With Landpartien at Schloss Diersfordt, Schloss Hovestadt, Schloss Neuhaus, Schloss Iburg, and other sites, the company has established a unique format nationwide. The principle: high-quality exhibitors in an atmospheric palace setting, combined with cultural content and a relaxed weekend atmosphere.

Palace Park as a Stage

The Neuhaus Palace Park, with its baroque symmetry, old trees, carp pond, and restored paths, offers a special effect: exhibitors are spread along the main axes, small pavilions are placed under trees, and cafés and catering areas utilize the palace forecourt and orangery. Atmosphere and exhibitor selection merge — the Landpartie is less a trade fair, more a "weekend at the palace.".

Schloss Neuhaus is the venue for further events in the summer of 2026 — the "SchlossSommer 2026" (see schlosspark-paderborn.de) brings concerts, open-air cinema, and cultural events to the park during the summer months. The Landpartie from August 13th–16th fits into this program and forms one of its highlights.
