Concert Series of Renown in the Frankenwald
Over the years, the Kulturfrühling Helmbrechts has evolved from a local concert program into a series that is recognized well beyond the region. The organizer is the Association Upper Franconian Textile Museum in cooperation with the town of Helmbrechts. The venue is the Textile Museum & Cultural Worlds Helmbrechts – a venue opened in 2018 as "Textile Museum", which was renamed "Cultural Worlds" with the expansion and program extension in 2024.
Blues, Rock, Jazz – with a Clear Focus on Blues
The program traditionally emphasizes Blues and Blues-Rock, complemented by acts from neighboring genres: Rock, Jazz, Folk, Country, and Singer-Songwriter. In 2026, the lineup includes the Climax Blues Band (world hit "Couldn't Get It Right"), the Ellis Mano Band (Soul-Blues), Andreas Diehlmann Band, the Croatian blues-rocker Vanja, and the folk festival Irish Spring.
Helmbrechts – Textile Town in the Frankenwald
Helmbrechts is a town of around 9,000 inhabitants in the Hof district (Upper Franconia, Bavaria), in the Frankenwald region near the Thuringian border. Historically shaped by the textile industry (hence the museum), Helmbrechts has established itself in the last two decades as a location for unusual cultural initiatives: from the Textile Museum to the musical program and design projects.

A special feature of the series is the Blues Ticket package: those who book eight selected blues concerts together pay an average of only €21 per concert – an attractive special price for lovers of the genre.

Three Months of Concerts
More than a dozen concerts are spread over three months. On concert evenings, the Textile Museum transforms into an intimate concert hall – with good acoustics, short distances, and an atmosphere that clearly differs from large venues.
