Schauensteiner Wiesenfest

The Schauensteiner Wiesenfest 2026 will take place from Friday, July 3rd, to Sunday, July 5th, 2026. The date has been confirmed in the official event calendar of the town of Schauenstein.

On Friday, the children of the primary and secondary school will open the festival with their parade, followed by a family and games afternoon on the grounds of the Turn- und Sportverein. Saturday and Sunday will be dedicated to the grand parade of clubs, festivities in the beer tent with brass music, and the traditional evening dance.

As 2026 is an even-numbered year, according to the alternating schedule, Schauenstein is once again the host – Leupoldsgrün will take over in 2027.

Provisional Schedule

• Fri 03.07. – Schoolchildren's parade, family and games afternoon on the festival meadow, opening of the festival tent
• Sat 04.07. – Club evening, live music in the festival tent, dancing
• Sun 05.07. – Grand parade of clubs through Schauenstein, festival activities in the afternoon, winding down in the evening

The detailed program will be published on the Schauenstein town website before the festival.

Getting There

By car: A9 exit Naila / Selbitz, then follow signs for Schauenstein. By bus: Lines of VGH Hofer Land. Parking available around the TuS Schauenstein sports club.

Free admission to the festival grounds; individual program items may incur a fee.

The Wiesenfest takes place exclusively in even-numbered years – in odd-numbered years, the neighboring community of Leupoldsgrün celebrates.
