Overview

In July 2024, Schauenstein celebrated its Wiesenfest again after a two-year break. It kicked off on Friday with a parade of around 150 children from the primary school and kindergarten, marching from the town center up to the festival meadow at the Turn- und Sportverein. A family and games afternoon, a beer tent, and a Sunday parade followed.

The Wiesenfest 2024 in Schauenstein began on Friday, July 5th, 2024, with the children's parade. Around 150 schoolchildren and kindergarten children marched from the town center to the festival meadow at TuS. Many wore football jerseys of their stars – the names Kane, Musiala, Wirtz, and Ronaldo were visible on the back numbers, as the European Football Championship was taking place in Germany at the same time.

On Saturday and Sunday, the traditional parade of clubs, dancing in the festival tent, and a family wind-down followed. Thus, the alternating Wiesenfest returned to Schauenstein as planned, after Leupoldsgrün had celebrated in 2023.
